Social Justice Adult Education Series

The UUCC Social Justice Committee will introduce a Social Justice Adult Education Series beginning on Sunday, September 25th.

Our Social Justice co-chairs, Judy Gallagher and Judith Pedersen-Benn, will kick off the series with a sermon titled, “The End of the World As We Know It.”  Make sure to join us at 11:00am for service on Sunday, September 25th!

After the kick-off sermon, workshop sessions will meet in the UUCC sanctuary at 1:00pm each Sunday in October. 

Throughout July and August of 2022, Selina Duncan, Christian Horvath, and members of our 1st and 3rd Wednesday Coffee Group arranged an Environmental Justice Adult Education Series. The first of it’s kind, this series was a huge success! Speakers from all over the Southeast gave presentations on various environmental issues, action groups, and legal battles in our area.
