Singing is a resource, a gift, and a power that helps to connect us, to regulate our nervous systems, to metabolize our feelings. Singing from the heart is not about perfection its about changing ourselves and our world.
We will be sharing simple songs of historical significance (ie: "We Shall Overcome") as well as new songs for THIS moment in our collective history, including many being sung now by our friends in Minneapolis, MN. Whether you come to sing, breathe, or simply BE with us in these times, this space is for you and You are welcome HERE.

To honor Black History Month, a poster exhibit features six renowned Black American writers of the 1900s. Their talented works are profound statements captured in print and boldly placed before the public eye. The posters feature Alex Haley, Toni Morrison, Zora N. Hurston, Octavia Butler, Richard Wright, and The Color Purple.

Pictured above are Toni Morrison (1931-2019), an American novelist and editor, and Alex Haley (1921-1992), author of the acclaimed novel Roots (1976). Toni Morrison was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1993.
