The Art on the Walls Program presents the exhibit
Exhibiting at UUCC through September 28, 2025
Qimmah Muhammad presents a solo exhibition of 16 paintings in a variety of subjects and styles. The artist finds empowerment in creating art that confronts a political and cultural system that is often noninclusive. She/they wants the art to invite the viewer to ask “What does it mean to see clearly in a time of distortion? What does it mean to envision change?”
The artist received a B.A. in Studio Art from Delaware State University. She/they assisted Sebastienne Mundheim in the White Box Theatre production Gilgamesh and has exhibited at Wavelength Space. The above painting is titled My Body, My Choice.
Muhammad will donate 30% of sales to UUCC.
