Woman Who Craft History: Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay

Bring your own handicrafts to work on and be inspired by the incredible story of Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay, a fearless social reformer and freedom fighter who played a pivotal role in India's independence movement and championed the revival of traditional Indian handicrafts.
|
This all-ages service will feature storytelling, crafts, and a chance to connect with other creative people in our community. There will be a time for craft show and tell! I can't wait to see what we all create and how we let our light shine in beloved all ages crafting community. You could even showcase your Home Made Item for the auction.

For the First Time at UUCC , 4 Sundays in March will feature an opportunity for you to find your passion and support the church economically.. Let Judy Gallagher or Nicky Ozbek know (nickyozbek@gmail.com), if you are planning on creating an auction gift or baking food or Jen Horning if you are willing to host a UU gathering around a meal or fun.

March 9th THIS coming Sunday. Books finding new homes- books not purchased will be taken to McKay’s after church.

Bring cash and checks and leave with BOOKS, glorious books.

March 16th. Spring Treasurers – Did I buy 2 of these? How many butter dishes do I need? This is really pretty, someone needs it, but not me. New and used, decorative and practical, all items are welcomed. Donations gratefully accepted .

March 23r Hand crafted Gifts and Baked Goods-Plant babies, Special cheese cakes, hand knit scarfs, Derrickson wine. Donations gratefully accepted .

March 30th Gather & Give: Shared Meals & Experiences Gather & Give is a fundraising program designed to bring people together through shared meals and meaningful experiences while raising money for a great cause - our church. Volunteers open their homes, community spaces, or chosen venues to host guests for a meal and maybe also a group activity.
|
Attendees purchase tickets to participate, with all proceeds supporting UUCC. Meals may also be available as "take out," delivered right to your door. Hosts may sign up now through March 23rd. Tickets to dine may be purchased March 30 - April 6.
