The Ministerial Search Committee is delighted to introduce our prospective minister, Amanda (Mandy) Goheen.

Mandy Goheen spent the past 5 years working with the Church of the Larger Fellowship as Director of their prison ministry program where she was the minister to over 900 incarcerated people. For the past year, she has also served as a lay leader at her home church in Alabama. She brings a lifetime of skills and experience as a social justice advocate, plus her ministerial skills in pastoral care, preaching, stewardship, and membership growth.

Ms Goheen will preach at UUCC on May 5 and May 12. There are many social events scheduled for you to meet her throughout the week. For the second half of her visit, her husband Andre, who recently retired from a career in the Air Force, and their six children will be joining her. You can see a video from Ms Goheen to our church at Hello UUCC, read her article that was recently published in Quest for Meaning at questformeaning.org/quest-article/arrows-of-love/ and learn more about her at her website Mandy Goheen@sparrow-crocodile.com.
