Water Communion

During this year’s in-gathering, we will once again sail into uncharted territory. In this multi-generational service, we will explore what it means to be anchored in love. This year we will use the symbol of the anchor to remind us that despite the distance we are anchored in a very special community, anchored by the water that connects all of us, and our common sense values grounded in reason, justice, and love.

We will be doing our very first Do-it-Yourself Water Communion. Please bring a bowl, a glass of water, and something you can light like a chalice or candle. This ritual is celebrated in most Unitarian Universalist communities worldwide.
