UUCC Closed Sunday, January 12

Greetings Community -
Due to snow melting today and freezing temperatures this evening the UUCC campus will be closed Sunday January 12th. Please reach out to folks you know who are not in this email group. Ice will be a great concern Sunday morning into the afternoon. Please take care to avoid any unnecessary risks the next few days to avoid accidents on the ice.
Please be careful and stay home if at all possible. All of you who must go out for work and other obligations I am holding you all in love and safety on the journey. Keep those faucets dripping, make a warm drink and curl up with a good book! We will see each other soon.

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
